A developer has received the green light to add 94 new homes to a major Bristol development.

Charles Church Severn Valley has acquired 6.8 acres from Crest Nicholson to construct the homes on the 1,290-unit site at Harry Stoke, Stoke Gifford, South Gloucestershire.

Charles Church – sister company of Persimmon Homes – currently has outline planning permission for the site. Detailed approval for will now be sought.

The application includes a commitment to transfer 25 new properties to a local housing association, helping to address the local housing waiting list.

The housebuilder recently had its five-star HBF (Home Builders Federation) rating confirmed for the fourth year in a row, meaning nine out of 10 customers would recommend them to a friend.
