Coronation Street favourite Vicky Myers has been declared love by a very popular Emmerdale star after they were both seen dazzling at a star-studded event with their fellow soap stars.
The actress, who is known for playing DS Lisa Swain in the ITV soap, and Dales legend Lisa Riley, who is famed for playing Mandy Dingle in the long-running show, were both in attendence at the British Soap Awards.
The ceremony, hosted by singer Jane McDonald, saw stars from the biggest soaps in the country go head to head for best scenes, performances and storylines
The 2025 event, the first in two years, took place on Saturday (May 31) at the Hackney Empire in London, with all the action playing out on ITV on Thursday (June 5).
Following the event, the stars of the UK’s biggest soaps have been sharing their own photos online and Stockport-born Vicky was no different.

She took to her main Instagram grid with a picture of her sparkling look for the evening, and a closer look at her gorgeous hair and makeup choices for the soap bash.
Captioning the post, Vicky wrote: “BSA 2025. Ok, I’m utterly useless at social media – I’m ok with that – but here’s a few thanks to those who helped to get me camera ready and of course, to you for your fantastic support!”
Meanwhile, Lisa also took to her own profile with her own update. Th Bury-born TV star, who dazzled in a sparkling navy gown, shared a selfie with fellow actress Natalie Robb, who is best known for playing Moira Dingle in the Dales.
Captioning the post, Lisa wrote among yellow love hearts and kissing lips emojis: “Love ya babes @nataliejrobbofficial here’s us on our way @emmerdale #emmerdale #love.”

Vicky shared a simple response to the new snap, typing “You” in the comments section with a string of love heart emojis. And Lisa wasted not time in sharing a sweet response.
She typed: “@vicksmyers love you so much-last night I was BRIMMING with pride for you-truly your proudest big sister for life couldn’t love you anymore if I tried.” And Vicky could feel the love as she commented back: ” Lisa, thank you you beautiful woman. Love you Sis.”
Meanwhile, a fan joked about the rivalries between the Manchester and Leeds-based soaps and said: “@vicksmyers did you give @lisajaneriley the middle finger from your seat?” But Lisa responded: “We were doing heart to heart signs-we are dear friends-she played my sister in ‘Age Before Beauty’.”
As Lisa mentioned, the pair appeared together in the BBC’s Manchester-based drama, Age Before Beauty, in 2018.
