Aimee Lou Wood has reunited with Patrick Schwarzenegger once again, this time for a Venmo campaign debuting Wednesday across different media platforms. The duo previously starred in the third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus” and attended the 2025 Met Gala together in May.
“It was so cosmic. We felt like we manifested it,” Wood told WWD over the phone. “We’d said the day before how much we needed to work together again, we were texting about it and and then this amazing opportunity came through on our emails. We were like, ‘What the hell?’”
In the campaign, inspired by the real-life friendship between Wood and Schwarzenegger, the actors go shopping together and end up in a musical-inspired sequence.
Wood’s life has been “quite crazy and quite full on” since the third season of “The White Lotus” aired. Besides starring in commercials, the actress, who played Chelsea on the show, had her schedule filled with talk show appearances, photo shoots and red carpet events. With the new attention came a new and more personal wardrobe.
“I’ve had a shift in mindset with fashion recently,” she said. “For a while, I was always kind of perceived as the characters I’d played. When I would go to red carpet events or anything, and I would work with stylists, it was like I was kind of being dressed as Aimee, but also kind of the character that I just played. I never really felt like myself on the red carpet.”

Wood began collaborating more with stylists and having a greater say in her appearance. In her recent red carpet appearances, she collaborated with stylist Felicity Kay, who dressed her in custom pieces from Burberry, Cartier, Magda Butrym, and other luxury brands, as well as emerging designers like Ahluwalia.
“We have a life where we play characters, and so I think the temptation is when going to these events is to kind of play character. But a lot of the time I feel best when I’m just me,” she said.
An astrology enthusiast, Wood has used her Zodiac chart to explore her own style, participating in the recent TikTok trend where creators dress up like their rising star — Wood is an Aquarius with Taurus rising. “Taurus is a very cozy. I definitely lean into that coziness, and I feel good when I feel cozy. For sure,” she said.

In May, Wood also debuted as a designer, creating a T-shirt to support the Trans Justice Funding Project, which is available at motherdaughterholyspirit.nyc. “Everybody is free to transform,” says the design that she created in collaboration with her sister, Emily Wood. “It was a beautiful way to support a cause that we really, really care about, and also be creative,” she said, adding that she would love to create more pieces in the future.
