Zhong Wang aged 53, was arrested after being stopped by West Midlands Police officers on Gooch Street, Birmingham, on Wednesday morning.
Officers made the arrest after acting on a number of enquiries around the area, now charging with running two brothels in Sutton Coldfield and Erdington, as well as controlling prostitution for gain.

Wang appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’ve charged a man with managing two brothels after officers from Operation Fearless stopped a car in Birmingham’s Southside area.
“The charge is part of Operation Fearless, which arrived in Southside last month to target everything from violence, drug dealing and anti-social behaviour to organised crime.”
Wang was also charged with possessing criminal property after the recovery of £5,000 in cash.
