Three teenagers, the youngest aged just 14, were arrested as police officers rushed to a reported robbery on a city street.
Officers were seen on Ralph Road in Shirley at around 8pm yesterday, Saturday, June 7.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said officers attended the scene following a robbery which took place on the adjoining Stratford Road shortly after 7pm.

Three teenage boys, one aged 15 and two aged 14, were arrested.
The suspects remained in custody today, Sunday, June 8, as enquiries continued.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Stratford Road, Shirley, shortly after 7pm yesterday after a report of a robbery.
“Officers attended and arrested three teenagers, two aged 14 and one aged 15.
