A man who saw red and punched two teenagers for kicking his front door and running off has been jailed.

Jordan Tonkinson lost his temper after half a dozen children who were playing ‘knock door run’, targeted his address in Gower Street, Willenhall.

Tonkinson chased after the group when one of them kicked his door and ran away last December 15.

One of them suffered a cut above their eye and the other cracked teeth.

He threatened to kill one of them unless they handed over their mobile phone.

Once in his possession he threw the phone on the ground and smashed it.

The boys managed to escape and informed West Midlands Police.

Tonkinson was arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery which he initially denied.
