Emma Raducanu has enjoyed a mixed start to her 2025 season, having most recently played at the Miami Open.

Raducanu has climbed to 47th in the WTA Tour rankings, some way off her career-high of 10th back in 2022.

But fitness issues have once again disrupted her progress, with Raducanu withdrawing from Team GB for their Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers.

Tim Henman says Raducanu needs to build her physical resilience, with the 22-year-old having been severely hampered by injury in her career so far.

She did, however, enjoy a breakthrough tournament last month, when the Briton reached the Miami Open quarter-finals.

Raducanu out the likes of eighth seed Emma Navarro at the WTA 1000 event, before falling to eventual runner-up Jessica Pegula.

And the former has been taking time to focus on matters away from her own game, having just seen Great Britain qualify for the Billie Jean King Cup finals.

They previously defeated Germany 2-1, before the likes of Boulter and Sonay Kartal helped secure a win over the Netherlands via the same scoreline.

The 2021 US Open champion is, however, seemingly on the right track, with her future looking as bright as it has in recent memory.

Remarkably, her only career WTA title to date arrived at the US Open, but another title may not be too far away after her recent return to the world’s top 50.
