National Express West Midlands service 9m X8 and X20 is diverting the 9, X8 and X20 services at Hagley Road West are no longer diverting via Ridgeacre Lane after an ‘Emergency services lead incident’ was resolved.
The diversion was in place from around 5.15m for buses coming out of Birmingham city centre but has now been lifted, with all services running normally and to route.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: ” We were called to the Quinton Expressway this afternoon following concerns for the safety of a person.
“The person is now safe and is being supported by other agencies.”
