The club can provide an update on our current injury casualties.

Lewis Hall is now back in full training after recovering from an ankle ligament injury and could be in line to make his first appearance since February against Halifax this Sunday.

Jake Maizen was forced off with a bicep injury in the closing stages of the Vikings’ victory over London a fortnight ago; however, the injury is not as serious as first feared. He is continuing to be monitored by the club’s medical staff, who are hopeful he will be fit to feature this weekend.

Joe Lyons missed the trip to the capital with a shoulder injury sustained in the defeat to Bradford, but has now returned to full training and is in contention to play on Sunday.

Declan Patton has not featured for the Vikings since suffering an ankle ligament injury in our defeat to Barrow in April. He is now back running on the field; however, he will not be fit to return this weekend. He is expected to be back in full training and available for selection in 1-2 weeks.

Scans have confirmed that Ryan Ince suffered a torn PCL and meniscus damage during the defeat to Featherstone last month. He has now begun rehabilitation but is expected to be sidelined for at least three months.

Matt Fleming continues his recovery from a hamstring injury suffered against Featherstone. While there is no set timeframe for his return, he remains under close supervision during his rehab but is not expected to return within the next month.

Danny Langtree is currently awaiting scan results to determine the extent of a pectoral injury sustained in the Vikings’ victory over London.
