Wathnan Racing have run nine two-year-olds this season and three of them are entered in the Coventry. Favourite Postmodern is among them, but it is significant to see Naval Light among the entries.
This colt made his debut in the Two Year Old Trophy at Beverley, when he finished an almightily promising second to Old Is Gold. Out the back in a steadily run race, Naval Light flew home under minimal pressure and is bound to step up in a big way.
