Simone Malik, a relative of former One Direction star Zayn Malik, produced the artwork, and hoped that it would raise money for Cancer Research UK at auction.
Ms Malik told the Telegraph and Argus: “I have always had an interest in the royal family.
“It is an area of expertise of mine.
“As an artist, we always like exploring other avenues.
“I sat down doodling on a piece of paper and I just thought let’s push the boundaries and see what I can get.
“Usually you are inclined to do something very accurate.
“But I thought this won’t be, let me change the dimensions of the face and ears.
“Let’s see if I can still create a likeness of the person when I do that.
“I enjoy that something that is not an accurate portrait can still look like that person.
“It is just a trick of the mind.
“I want to do more and more of these of more royal family members, and eventually hold an exhibition.
“I would love to sell the work and give the proceeds to Cancer Research UK.
“Lots of people around the world are affected by this horrible disease.
“It takes great strength of character to overcome it, as well as medical science.
“Two key members of the royal family are affected by the disease, so why not use my creativity to try to get something positive from it?”
She added: “I have shown it to family and friends and people have had fun with it.
“People have been very engaged in it.
“It is very different from my usual style.
“It looks amateurish in certain areas but it is a certain style of art.
“Art is very subjective, so different people have different tastes.”
One family member who was yet to see the artwork was Zayn.
Simone said: “Zayn has not had a look.
“We have been busy with family weddings.
“Zayn’s cousin recently got married.
“We have not seen much of him at all in the last few years, I think he has just been very busy, but we do see his sisters.
“He has made the Malik family really proud.
“He has put Bradford on the map.”
