Most AirTag alternatives are either iPhone-exclusive or Android-exclusive. Only a handful of trackers work with both Apple and Google’s Find My networks. The Chipolo Pop is one of those AirTag rivals that are compatible with both Apple and Android phones. It costs the same as an Apple AirTag but delivers a full suite of features, including the ability to call your phone and double as a remote shutter button.

Chipolo brings back its signature bright and funky aesthetic with colorful options on the Pop tracker. It’s available in blue, black, green, red, white, and yellow, so you can match it with the hues you like. According to Chipolo’s co-founder Domen Barovic, the Pop “merges the best of our past—bringing colours, compatibility, and our most popular features into a product everyone can love.”

  1. Worldwide range: As mentioned earlier, the Chipolo Pop works with both Apple’s Find My network and Google’s Find My Device, so you can locate your missing item almost anywhere in the world.
  2. Call your phone: Misplaced your phone again? Once connected to the Chipolo app, you can double-press the Pop to ring your phone.
  3. A remote shutter button: You can use the Chipolo Pop as a remote shutter to snap photos. It works via the Camera option within the Chipolo app.
  4. Customizable ringtones: You can switch up the Pop’s ringtone through the app. While customization is currently limited to Chipolo’s preset options, the 120dB sound makes it easy to locate with any tone.
  5. An Android-only feature: The Chipolo Pop can send out-of-range alerts to your Android phone when you leave something behind.
  6. Replaceable battery: The battery is rated to last up to one year, and once out of charge, you can easily replace it, so no need to toss the tracker when the power runs out.
  7. Sustainable packaging: Chipolo’s new packaging is designed with sustainability in mind. It is slimmer, has a matte finish, and is made entirely of paper.
