A large amount of drug paraphernalia was seen at the scene on Wednesday night.
Police returned to the area this morning (Thursday), before forensics officers seized the items and cleared the area.
A cordon was initially put in place around the entire car park behind Dominos, off Norbury Street.
That cordon was later lifted, before officers focused on the immediate area behind the takeaway.
The Manchester Evening News understands the area had been a hotspot for drug abuse among a number of individuals who are believed to be homeless.
