Kate Middleton shares photos as Prince William steps out with new partner
Prince William, the founder of the Earthshot Prize, left fans stunned with his surprising outing with a new partner as Princess Kate remained at home.
The heir to the British throne was seen with Hollywood star Cate Blanchett on Thursday during his visit to Colorifix in Norfolk. The two also headed to the laboratories where they witnessed the entire manufacturing process.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and Earthshot Prize jointly released the pictures of the future King’s outing with the stunning actress, sating: “A visit to the brilliant @colorifix_ today with @earthshotprize Council Member Cate Blanchett. An Earthshot Prize 2023 Finalist, Colorifix use cutting-edge DNA science to revolutionise fabric dyeing.”
William and Cate were briefed how toxic chemicals are eliminated and water waste is reduced by using DNA to copy natural colours from plants, animals, or microbes – creating dyes without using harmful chemicals.
This innovation offers real hope for a cleaner, sustainable future in fashion. It aims to find solutions to “repair” the planet and will run annually until 2030.
The Earthshot Prize, which is awarded to winners each year for their contributions to environmentalism in five different catagories, will take place in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in November 2025, with previous ceremonies staged in Cape Town last year, Singapore in 2023, Boston in 2022 and London’s Alexandra Palace in 2021.
The company was a finalist in the 2023 Earthshot Prize in the category of ‘Creating a Waste-Free World’.
