Significant racing and breeding prospects aplenty in Inglis June (Late) Sale

A range of intriguing broodmares and breeding prospects – as well as many young, in-form racehorses suitable for both the domestic and Hong Kong market – headline a stellar catalogue for the Inglis Digital June (Late) Online Sale.

A total of 485 horses have been lotted for the sale, including 173 racehorses (76 race fillies), 157 broodmares, 66 racehorse shares, 42 yearlings, 41 weanlings and 6 unraced stock.

Among the standout broodmare offerings is Extra Olives (Redoute’s Choice), dam of this season’s Fred Best Classic (Gr 3, 1350m) and Mick Dittman Plate (Listed, 1000m) winner Spicy Martini (Justify). She is offered as Lot 433 in foal to European Champion and Cartier Horse of the Year St Mark’s Basilica (Siyouni), whose yearlings have sold up to $750,000 this year.

Western Australian star Searchin’ Roc’s (Awesome Rock) (Lot 342) – a dual Group 3 winner and six-time stakes winner of over $1 million in earnings – is offered off the track and ready for her maiden cover.

Glenlogan Park and Bell View Park Stud headline the reduction drafts, with Glenlogan presenting 17 mares including stakes winners and relatives to black-type performers. Bell View Park’s consignment features Tamahine (Proisir) (Lot 362), who is in foal to leading first-season sire Farnan (Not A Single Doubt).

On the racing front, progressive three-year-old Secure (Snitzel), a recent Warwick Farm and Canterbury winner for Chris Waller, is among the headline lots (Lot 8). Rated 67 in Hong Kong, he is due to race at Randwick on Saturday and will be fully vetted on Monday.

Another exciting prospect is Ikasara (I Am Invincible) (Lot 78), a Rosehill-winning juvenile who placed in the Heritage Stakes (Listed, 1100m) and was fourth in the Roman Consul Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) behind Switzerland (Snitzel) and Coleman (Pierata).

Yulong leads all vendors with 21 entries, supported by major operations including Annabel Neasham Racing, Widden, Vinery, Ciaron Maher, Blue Gum, Taghadoe Stud, Waterhouse/Bott, Sledmere, Yarraman Park, and Lindsay Park.

Bidding opens on Friday with the final countdown set to begin from 10am (AEST) Wednesday.
