It looks like we could soon have a box set of documentaries from the British royal family!

King Charles is set to follow in Prince Harry’s footsteps with an appearance in a new Netflix offering, but don’t expect any truth bombs.

The royal will appear in a film celebrating The King’s Trust as it reaches a major milestone and has enlisted the help of a major Hollywood star to also feature.

Idris Elba has signed on to appear in the special, which marks the 50th anniversary of the organisation, and he has a good reason for taking part.

Idris is one of the 1.3 million people who have benefited from the trust over the years and helped to shape his future.

‘The King’s Trust gave me an opportunity that changed my life,’ he explained. ‘At a time when I didn’t have the resources to pursue my ambitions, they offered support that helped me advance my career.’

The documentary is due to commence filming in the coming days, and Idris’ story is one of many that will feature.

‘Idris will undoubtedly bring a unique perspective to this ground-breaking documentary as he peels back the layers of our story and shows how our life-changing work is as relevant today as it’s ever been,’ said Jonathan Townsend, UK chief of the trust.
