Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield‘s British drama has received a new streaming home in the UK.
We Live in Time tells the story of professional chef Almut Brühl (Pugh) and marketing executive Tobias Durand (Garfield) as they navigate the ups and downs of their loving relationship.
The movie first arrived in cinemas earlier this year, but those who missed the cinematic release – or simply want to relive the emotional story – can stream it on Netflix UK from Saturday 5 July.
Meanwhile, US fans can watch the romantic drama right now as it is currently available to stream on HBO Max.
Directed by John Crowley, We Live in Time is told via a non-linear narrative, taking place over the course of a decade. The movie sees the couple facing a number of key life moments from pregnancy to illness – and everything in between.

“It’s a klutzy way to tell a story, but Crowley is confident that the chemistry between Pugh and Garfield is so compelling, people will want to watch his movie again and again,” wrote Variety.
“At which point, Almut and Tobias’ memories will have become our memories, and the sequence hardly matters.”

In our three-star review, Digital Spy pointed out some “irregularities” within the story, but praised the performances of the “phenomenal” lead actors.
“Despite its unusual timeline, the movie would feel like any other middle-of-the-road soppy romantic drama if not for the two leading stars,” reads the review.
“As the passionate Almut and the soft-spoken Tobias, Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield are the heart of the story, with their excellent performances filling in the emotional gaps the script might have presented.”
We Live in Time is available to stream on HBO Max in the US, and from 5 July on Netflix in the UK.
