M&S has announced plans to invest £50m into its stores across the North west of England.
As part of the plans, M&S will look to invest in creating eight new and improved stores across the region including two stores in Greater Manchester.
Investments within Greater Manchester will look to extend and redesign the existing M&S stores in Bolton and Sale.

“We have the opportunity in the North west of England to continue investing in market-leading stores, as part of our renewal and rotation strategy, offering great quality products with that touch of M&S magic and the trusted value our customers expect and deserve.
Investments are expected to be completed over the next three financial years and will see five new stores built across the region.
Plans will also see three stores being renovated to the latest format and 300 new jobs created across the North west.
Last week the first of the eight stores was reopened at Gemini Retail Park in Warrington with a brand-new Clothing, Home and Beauty department.

The full-line store in Gemini Retail Park in Warrington has been redesigned. The new store features a new Clothing and Home area and larger Beauty department. The store has developed a larger Food Hall and bakery, offering takeaway coffee.
New M&S
Plans will look to develop a new Outlet store in Warrington with a Click and Collect service. The new outlet is expected to open towards the end of the year.
M&S
Plans include a major extension to the existing store, creating an estimated additional 108 new jobs.
M&S Simply Food, Sale
Plans include a fresh redesign to the existing Food Hall which was recently completed.

Plans include opening a new 160,000 sq. foot food hall. This will include an in-store bakery, a wider selection of fruit and vegetables, and dedicated Flower and Wine Shops.
Frontier Park Retail Hub, Blackburn
Investments look to submit planning permission to move the Blackburn M&S store to Frontier Park Retail Hub, to bring customers a wider range of food products.
New M&S at
Plans look to open a new full-line store in New Mersey Retail Park in South Liverpool. Plans for the new store are expected to create over 100 local jobs.
M&S Simply Food, Formby
Investments look to open a new Food Hall to replace the existing smaller unit. The new store is expected to support 60 local jobs.
