This initiative aims to transform how people enter the financial planning profession.
The academy offers a structured path to becoming a Chartered Financial Planner, bypassing the university route.
Poole’s Chloe Blackmore, 19, is the first trainee.
She joins after an internship at the firm during her T-Levels in accounting and finance at Poole High School.
Ms Blackmore said: “From the beginning, I knew Baggette + Co was different.
“It’s like a family.
“Everyone knows each other and genuinely wants you to succeed.”
Jo Hjalmas, managing director, said: “We want to continually attract talented people from different backgrounds and pathways – people who are empathetic, ethical, and passionate about helping others.
“Chloe absolutely embodies that, and we’re proud she’s the first part of the Financial Advisers Development Academy.”
Ms Blackmore’s choice to pursue financial planning is significant, as only 16 per cent of UK financial advisers are women.
She said: “There are so few visible female IFAs.
“If I can inspire even one more person to consider a career as a financial adviser – especially another young woman – I’ll be over the moon.”
Her formal study starts this September, alongside four days of work each week.
