Images have been released by Police Scotland as they appeal for those who recognise the man to come forward.

Police have released images of him who may have information amid a spate of thefts in Fife and Glasgow.
Officers believe the man may hold crucial information about the incidents, which happened between September 2024 and May 2025, and could assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as white, of medium build, with short hair and a brown beard. He was wearing a baseball cap at the time he was captured on camera and is said to have an Irish accent.

Detectives are now urging anyone who recognises him — or the man himself — to get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Alexander Brydon, who is leading the investigation, said: “We would ask the man in this image, or anyone who recognises him, to contact officers through 101 quoting reference CR/0334998/24.”

So far, police have not released specific details of the two thefts, but the incidents are understood to have taken place in both central Glasgow and Fife.
