Emerson Royal could leave AC Milan this summer, and a return to Spain may be on the cards, with his entourage heading for meetings.

In January, it seemed that Emerson would leave permanently. However, an injury in the opening minutes against Girona ruled that off. So, the situation went on ice for a few months. Now, with him recovered and the mercato open again, here we are.

It doesn’t seem like a permanent departure is planned this time around, though. Instead, reports suggest that a loan could be the route that Milan take and meetings are already taking place.

Spanish return

There was plenty of interest in January, so it should be no different over the next two or three months. Though they may not be needed, with his entourage already having meetings with interested teams.

As can be seen below, footage from El Chiringuito suggests that the Brazilian could head back to Spain and return to Real Betis, where he previously played.
