Duchess Sophie represents royal family at special event as Kate steps back
Buckingham Palace issued a delightful update on Duchess Sophie amid Princess Kate’s absence from the public eye.
The official Instagram page of the royal family dropped a video of Duchess of Edingburgh from her visit to Central School of Ballet.
The mother-of-two represented the royal family as the Princess of Wales stepped back from royal duties for a brief period of time.
The message alongside the video reads, “‘En pointe’ performances at the Central School of Ballet!”
“As Patron since 2003, The Duchess toured The Countess of Wessex Studios, which were named in recognition of her longstanding patronage and support of the school.”
“During the visit, Her Royal Highness watched rehearsals for an upcoming summer performance, toured the Wardrobe Area, and met staff and students from the school.”
It is important to note that the Palace spokesperson provided an update on Sophie after future Queen Catherine withdrew from the Royal Ascot 2025 event at the last minute.
Since then, Prince William’s wife has been doing work behind the scenes but she has not stepped out during her phase of remission from cancer.
