Wetherspoons has launched 15 new ciders that will cost just £2.99. The pub giant, which has pubs across Birmingham, is celebrating the summer by kicking off a 10-day craft cider festival on June 27 offering punters cider.

The last day of the festival is Sunday, July 6. It includes 15 ciders, featuring the Barn Screecher, Moonshine Rum and Raisin and Toffee Apple, as well as the Midnight Special, Peach Mojito and Fiery Fox.

The pub chain explained: “A range of up to 15 craft ciders, including traditional apple ciders, perries and flavoured ciders, will be available during the 10-day festival. The festival will run from Friday 27 June to Sunday 6 July, inclusive.

“The ciders include Barbourne Rhoobarb & Custard, Broadoak Moonshine Rum & Raisin, Gwynt y Ddraig Fiery Fox, Hunts Barn Screecher, Mr Whitehead’s Midnight Special, Pulp Peach Mojito and Snails Bank Toffee Apple.

All of the ciders are suitable for vegans. Tasting notes on all of the ciders will be available in pubs. Alternatively, they can be downloaded here and are also available on the Wetherspoon app.

“All ciders will be available to order at the bar and via the app. Allergen information about all of the featured ciders can be found on the customer information screen, website (by searching for a pub) and Wetherspoon app.”

Eddie Gershon, spokesperson for Wetherspoons, said some pubs will only have 10 of the varieties in stock. You can check what stock your local Spoons has and any prices by using the app.

Wetherspoons chief executive John Hutson said: “The festival is a great celebration of craft cider. It will allow our pubs to showcase a selection of superb ciders over a 10-day period.”
