Indie band The Kooks are playing in Bristol next month – but after seeing massive demand have decided to play two sets in one night at the same venue, just hours apart.
Known and loved for hits including ‘Naive’, ‘Ooh La’, ‘Moves In Her Own Way’, and ‘Seaside’, the band will be performing two special acoustic sets to an intimate audience at The Fleece, on Tuesday, May 13.
Tickets for the first show, which sees them take to the stage at 7.30pm, went on sale on Friday (April 11) and sold out in minutes.
This led to them announcing a second set due to such high demand, which will see them perform again at the same venue, just two hours later.
A limited number of tickets for the second set are still available, priced at £22.50 and can be purchased here.

Brought to The Fleece by Rough Trade, the gigs – which are part of a special acoustic tour across the UK – are described as a ‘unique event’ to celebrate the release of the band’s new album ‘Never/Know’, which is out on May 9.
There are also options to purchase the new album along with your gig ticket.

Taking to Instagram following the second sale on Monday, April 14, The Kooks shared the updated poster listing the acoustic tour dates, with two shows having sold out early doors.
The band, which consists of original members Luke Pritchard and Hugh Harris, wrote: “Tickets for the new acoustic album tour shows are on sale now!
“We’ve now added extra shows for Liverpool and Bristol, plus a new date for Edinburgh. Tickets are selling fast so be quick and get yours at the link in bio.”
The tour will see them play in Sheffield, Bury, Leeds, Nottingham, Liverpool (also twice), Edinburgh, Bournemouth, Southampton, Bristol (x2), and Coventry.
Having risen to fame some 20 years ago with the release of their debut album ‘Inside In/Inside Out’, The Kooks are often dubbed as one of the key names in the early 00s British indie scene and in recent years have been playing festivals across the globe.
They have six studio albums and eight EPs under their belt, and recently released their latest single ‘Sunny Baby’.
In addition to their acoustic tour across the country, the band will this year be embarking on a US tour, and will also be playing Reading and Leeds festival this summer.
