BEST BET
R2 No. 2 – Divino Cavallo @ $4
Divino Cavallo stepped up to this trip at Seymour last start and won impressively, putting a big gap on third-placegetter Brutalina. That horse then came out and won at Pakenham, albeit on the synthetic. Fourth-up from a good draw, there’s no reason why this mare can’t notch up a fourth win at start number seven.

NEXT BEST
R4 No. 1 – Pariah Pearl @ $6.50
This mare was ordinary in BM78 grade at Caulfield two-back but dropped back in class last start and ran well over this trip. She comes back further in grade here to a BM70 and only goes up 1kg thanks to Edgley’s claim. A bit of give in the ground is perfect and she looks a solid each-way play at upwards of $2.20 for the place.
Hannah Edgley (63.5kg)
T & N Busuttin & Young
4yoM (b) Pariah x Ocean Challenger
BEST VALUE
R5 No. 14 – Jewel Bay @ $17
Jewel Bay started $4.60 in this grade last start but knuckled on jumping and was always off the bit and chasing from that point onwards. His first-up run was excellent and the tempo of 1200m should suit third-up. He’s placed in 4 of his 5 runs on soft ground and has drawn ideally in barrier four, provided he steps a lot better than he did last time.
Daniel Stackhouse (58.5kg)
Andrea Leek
4yoG (b) Cable Bay x Jewel Of Johar
