Amazon has dramatically reduced the cost of an ‘impressive’ smartwatch that buyers are commending for its “exceptional battery life.” Ahead of Prime Day 2025, set to run from July 8 to 11, the online giant has introduced price reductions across numerous products.

Prime members can now snap up the Soudorv Smart Watch at a staggering discount, tumbling from £199.99 to a mere £39.99. This device features Bluetooth calling functionality, continuous heart rate and sleep tracking, intelligent notifications, and fitness monitoring capabilities.

Further features encompass a step tracker, over 130 exercise modes, alarm functionality, stopwatch and timer options, alongside music and camera management, weather forecasts, and prompts to get moving after periods of inactivity.

Equipped with a 1.43in AMOLED display, Amazon’s listing emphasises the screen’s “vibrant visuals with enhanced resolution.” Wearers can connect the timepiece to the FitCloudPro application, providing access to over 250 watch face designs or the ability to customise the display using personal photographs, reports Glasgow Live.

Those exploring other options will find Selfridges stocking the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 smartwatch for £59, whilst Currys has the FITBIT Versa 4 Smart Watch in Waterfall Blue and Platinum priced at £179. Meanwhile, H. Samuel stocks the Reflex Active Series 42 Amoled Ultra Slim for £65.

The Soudorv Smart Watch has attracted rave reviews across the internet, achieving an impressive 4.8-star rating. One delighted buyer commented: “The build quality of this smart watch is quite exceptional. I love the large screen, which is not only bright, but also very smooth and has fast response.

“The connection was easy and straightforward. So far, the data is accurate especially the steps counter. The battery life is commendable. On fully charged, it can go for eight days on moderate usage. Overall, it’s a great watch for the price.”

A separate purchaser shared their experience, stating: “For the price, this smartwatch is actually pretty impressive. It connects easily to both Android and iPhone, and I love that I can make and answer calls right from my wrist – super convenient when my phone’s buried in my bag.

“It tracks steps, workouts, and sleep well enough for everyday use, and the screen is a nice size: not too big, not too small. It’s not a high-end smartwatch, but if you’re looking for something affordable that covers the basics and looks good doing it, this is a solid pick.”

Nevertheless, they highlighted one small drawback, noting: “I have one issue with it, when away from my phone for more that 10 minutes it doesn’t automatically reconnect, annoying, but I can live with it, hopefully the developer will fix that with a firmware update.”

A somewhat disappointed buyer remarked: “Not a bad watch for its price 40$, it’s a pity there is no always on display and in rare cases the screen may not light up when you raise your hand somewhere one out of 15 times.

“There is also a camera icon here, but when you press it, nothing happens except vibration. Maybe it will work with some Android, but it doesn’t work on an iPhone. It’s perfect for a gift.”

Nevertheless, numerous customers remained enthusiastic about the timepiece. One individual commented: “I like this watch as it looks more like a normal watch, but has all the features of a smart watch. Battery life is the most exceptional thing about it, I wore it 24 hours a day and the battery lasted FIFTEEN DAYS.

“I also like that there is a second configurable button on the side, two different options can be set for short or long press. The smart options cover everything you need, and lots I don’t need.”

A further purchaser noted: “Received this on April 30, it’s now May 6 and the battery is on 82 per cent. I can’t believe how long it has lasted! The watch looks good and has so many features – I particularly like the option to make my phone ring when I can’t find it.

“There are many different sport activities to track and the sleep tracker is really useful. I also like the cool choice of faces that come preinstalled. By far the best smart watch I have owned. I would seriously pay three times the listed price for this item, it really is that good.”
