Over the last eight days, many stars have taken to centre court to watch-on as tennis pros have done their best in the Wimbledon battle.
However, today, July 7, as the eighth day has begun, there have been some celebrities which have certainly caught the attention of the public.
One notable ex-tennis pro in attendance was Roger Federer, who was captured sitting with his wife, Mirka, at the front of the box.
The sporting star was captured watching Novak Djokovic’s match against Alex de Minaur with great interest, as the tennis pro was seen taking his sunglasses off during the opening set, with commentator, John McEnroe, joking the action was due to the player’s ‘disbelief.’
Surrounding the couple was comedian Michael McIntyre, with wife Kitty, who were alongside Gabby and husband Kenny Logan, as well as Lenny Henry and his partner Lisa Makin.

How are you selected to sit in the Royal Box?
To be sat in the Royal Box, you have to be lucky enough to receive an invitation from the Chair of the All England Club, taking into account suggestions from members of The Championships’ Organising Committee, The Lawn Tennis Association and other relevant sources, Wimbledon’s website states.
According to the tennis tournament, seats in the highly coveted area are in place for those classed as “British and overseas Royal Families, […] heads of government, people from the world of tennis, commercial partners, British armed forces, prominent media organisations, supporters of British tennis and other walks of life.”
This feature has been around since 1922, and all those who accept a place within the box are advised to dress smart, with suits/jackets and ties.
Wimbledon adds: “Ladies are asked not to wear hats, as they tend to obscure the vision of those seated behind them.”
All those who visit the Royal Box are treated to lunch, tea and drinks at the Clubhouse at the end of the day.
