Ukraine is preparing to finalize new air defense agreements with its partners in the coming weeks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in a video address on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“We continue working to counter airstrikes. Everything related to air defense, including air defense systems, missiles for them, drone-based air defense, is currently a top priority. We are preparing new agreements with our partners and expect to formalize them in the coming weeks,” he said.

He added that Ukraine is gradually closing the funding gap for the production of drones and drone interceptors, and is filling domestic production lines with clear procurement orders.
During his online address to the GLOBSEC 2025 international forum, Zelensky said that Ukraine’s industry has the capacity to increase drone production by 40% this year, but is currently lacking sufficient funding to do so.
