Charmed, the iconic ’90s supernatural series, is trending now on a UK streaming service.
The series follows sisters Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell, played by the late Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano respectively.
Unaware that they possess supernatural abilities, the sisters unlock their magical powers to become the most powerful witches on earth, also known as the ‘Charmed Ones’.
After discovering their abilities, the three witches must use their gift to vanquish evil and save the lives of the innocent people around them.
First airing in 1998, the show ran for nine seasons before ending in 2006 and is now trending on Paramount+ via Amazon Prime.
Fans of Charmed took to IMDb to share their opinions on the beloved show, with one viewer dubbing it “ahead of its time”, adding: “The TV show is beyond amazing. The storylines are great up until the final season, the character development is shown greatly.”

They continued: “The show featured empowered women way before feminism was so popular, and it showed how women could save the day as much as men!”
Another fan said the supernatural series was “a tad formulaic but the plots are reasonably interesting. The three main characters are given depth and this contributes positively to the sub-plots and the engagement level.”
“Grew up with this show and loved it, the effects are very out dated but if you’re a true fan you can stick with it and watch for the characters, acting, humour,” penned another viewer.

McMahon died at his home in Florida last week following a battle with cancer, with his wife Kelly sharing a statement via Deadline.
“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” she said.
