Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale will reveal the location of Bear Wolf following his sad and sudden exit from the village.
The character left the Dales earlier this month after being kicked out of the family home by his son Paddy Dingle, with the pair’s relationship having deteriorated following repeated heated clashes.
Bear reached out to his old friend Gnasher for a place to stay, though he was dismayed as his cry for help was rejected. Putting on a brave face, Bear lied to Paddy and Maddy as he departed, failing to tell them that he had nowhere to stay.
He hasn’t been seen on screen since, with Paddy left uncertain as to whether to reach out to his estranged father. Bear has also resisted reaching out, leaving his current whereabouts unknown.

Some of the mystery will be cleared up on Friday 18 July, however, as he is depicted roaming the countryside in a panicked state. Despite his desperate situation, Bear persists in keeping his plight a secret from Paddy – for how long will he maintain this stance?
“Bear is out wandering in the countryside and is clearly not his usual self,” our Emmerdale insider explains. “While Bear doesn’t have dementia – like his son Paddy feared a few weeks ago – he seems completely lost in life.
“Bear has nowhere to stay, after falsely making out that he was leaving the village to spend time with a friend in Ireland. He’s too proud and humiliated to go back to Paddy at this point, so his ordeal could go on for quite a while longer…”

While Bear is currently in dire straits following his sudden departure, we do know that he will eventually find his way back to the village, though it doesn’t necessarily mean his relationship with Paddy will be patched up.
Speaking last month, actor Joshua Richards – who has played Bear since 2019 – teased that his character would be a changed man upon his return, saying: “When he [Bear] comes back, what you’ll see is a very different Bear in a really different situation.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
