A cricket-themed festival is set to bring sport, music, and entertainment to the heart of Leeds this weekend.

The Hundred Hangout will take over Briggate on Sunday, July 13, offering a taste of the high-energy experience of The Hundred ahead of the competition’s return to Headingley in August.

Running from 9am to 6pm, the free, family-friendly event will feature live DJs, interactive cricket VR games, and prize giveaways.

Hollie Armitage, a Northern Superchargers player, said: “I’m thrilled that The Hundred Hangout is coming to Leeds.

“It’s a brilliant way to give people a taste of what The Hundred is all about – fast-paced cricket, music, and an incredible atmosphere.

“There’s nothing quite like playing in front of a home crowd at Headingley, and I hope this event gets even more fans excited for what’s to come this summer.”

The centrepiece of the event will be The Hundred’s trophy.
