Kendrick Lamar was performing in Birmingham’s Villa Park Stadium tonight with SZA as part of The Grand National Tour.
And the singer paused the show to single out a ‘true’ and loyal fan.
The artist chatted to fans in the huge crowd and discovered one audience member had been coming to his shows since ‘day one’.

The Humble singer said: “We’ve got some day ones in the motherf***ing house tonight”
He then shouted out a long-time fan who has been going to his shows since 2011.
“This dude is a true representation of everybody in this building so make some noise for him tonight”.
He then went straight into performing one of his most famous tracks, m.A.A.d city.

The concert is expected to conclude at 10.30pm.
Fans need to be aware that there are road closures in place after the show until about midnight.
The Kendrick Lamar & SZA concert will see the following roads closed from 1pm until approximately midnight:
- Trinity Road – between the junctions with Witton Lane and Nelson Road
- Witton Lane – from Witton Island to Trinity Road
This is the last summertime concert for Villa Park, after a busy month for the venue – including Black Sabbath last weekend.
