Warrington Wolves

Catalans Dragons and Warrington Wolves have both named their initial sides for their clash at the Stade Gilbert Brutus this Saturday.

The Dragons will be looking for a strong performance to avenge their humiliating 44-6 loss to Wakefield last weekend. Meanwhile, the Wolves will be hoping for a more comfortable win after scraping through against a tough and resilient Salford side.

Both sides have made just one change to their initial squads. The Dragons welcome back centre Matthieu Laguerre, who has missed the last two weeks with injury. The 26-year-old has scored four tries this season, and is expected to feature.

Catalans are still without the likes of Reimis Smith, Elliott Whitehead and Tariq Sims. Captain Ben Garcia will serve the final of his four-match suspension this week and will be available to face Hull KR next week.

For Warrington, the sole change is that centre Roderick Tai drops out of the squad through injury. He is replaced by Zack Gardner. He will be hoping for a better result than what he suffered on his debut, with his first Super League appearance coming in the heavy defeat to Wakefield in May.

Danny Walker remains absent, whilst Matty Ashton, Aaron Lindop and Leon Hayes continue their recoveries from respective ACL injuries.
