Kilauea (Hawai’i): (10 Jul) Another lava-fountaining episode (the 28th so far) started within the Halemaʻumaʻu crater floor at about 04:10 AM local time yesterday.
The activity in the north vent produced tall, dome-shaped lava fountains reaching about 1200 ft (365 m) height associated with lava flows.

Meanwhile, after 9 hours of continuing fountaining, the effusive eruption came to an end at 01:20 PM local time tonight.
The south vent did not appear to activate at all during this episode and has been completely covered by new deposits.
