Jake Paul and company are catching some heat for having ring girls during Friday’s (July 11, 2025) all-female boxing event LIVE on Netflix from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The historic female boxing card, which featured eight total bouts, was headlined by a trilogy fight between world champions Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Taylor had won the previous two fights, but they were close. Their last fight had occurred on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson PPV card — which did insane numbers — so all parties were hoping for another massive turnout on Friday night.
In effort to make Friday’s event a historic showing, Paul and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) stacked the card with all female fighters. It was a nice plan on paper, but some were bothered by the event still having ring girls for an all-woman card. One reporter asked Paul about this during Friday’s post-fight press conference and “Problem Child” completely embarrassed him.

Reporter on having ring girls on an all women’s card:
Couple have people have said that why don’t have boys or none of any of them at all. I just wanna bring to the attention the conversation of it.

“Bro, please stop talking,” murmured Paul.
MVP co-founder, Nakisa Bidarian, was also in attendance and joked that anyone trying to become a “ring boy” should send their application to the reporter.
“Send it to f—king Kamala Harris,” interjected Paul.
What are your thoughts on all of this? Is it considered “exploitation” to have ring girls on an all-female card or it doesn’t matter at all?
