Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
A beloved Hollyoaks couple will be growing closer again in new scenes, but a vendetta risks ruining their reunion.
In scenes airing next week, Tony and Diane Hutchinson will give their romance another shot after Tony’s relationship with Marie Fielding came to an end.
The divorced pair are set to move back in together for the big relaunch of The Dog, reigniting their children’s hope of a reunited family.
But Diane doesn’t know that Tony has been giving a different fling a go in the meantime, as he secretly rekindled his past affair with Mercedes McQueen.

When he and Mercedes make plans to meet, Tony can’t help but share his desire to reunite with Diane.
Amid the excitement for The Dog, which will once again see Jack Osborne behind the bar, Tony asks Diane to give their marriage another shot.
Aware of the risks involved, especially with the kids, Diane suggests they take things slow. To test the waters, the couple opt for a romantic picnic to mark their fresh start.
However, later in the week, a vendetta prompts Tony to make a life-changing detour.

In earlier scenes, Tony hid a crucial text from Mercedes. While they were together, he spotted a message about her killer son Bobby Costello‘s whereabouts on her phone and deleted it.
Although Mercedes appears to have forgiven Tony, will she later decide to get revenge by telling Diane that they have been sleeping together?
Meanwhile, another member of the McQueen family is none the wiser about their serial killer fiancé.
Mercedes’ brother John Paul is preparing to walk the aisle with murderer Jez Blake, unaware his husband-to-be has been carrying out an affair with Liberty Savage to keep her from finding out the truth.
These scenes will air next week.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
