Birmingham travellers are being warned to expect disruptions to regular travel due to a shortage of train drivers on the line.
The issues are affecting CrossCountry trains only and have led to delays on more than five planned services throughout today.
CrossCountry has said that the delays are due to a ‘shortage of train drivers’, with six services today being cancelled.
On X, a CrossCountry spokesperson said: “On Sunday, July 20, there will be cancellations and busy services between Nottingham, Birmingham, and Cardiff.
“Please plan ahead and check your journey.”
On the service update page on the CrossCountry website, the group said the services are delayed “due to the lack of drivers”, also saying that alternative routes closer to end locations are available.
