Leeds have stepped up their approach in the transfer market as Daniel Farke returns to Germany.
The Peacocks kicked off their pre-season with a 0-0 draw against Manchester United (19 July), before setting off on a bizarre trip to Germany, where all their preparations are set to be behind closed doors.
Nevertheless, the sessions are giving Farke a much better insight into what areas of the squad he still needs to strengthen after signing Sean Longstaff last weekend.
The former Norwich manager is keen to get his targets through the doors quickly, as MOT Leeds News rounds up the latest rumours from the Whites.

Gabriel Gudmundsson joined Leeds just under two weeks ago from Lille for £10million on a four-year deal, and featured for Farke against United.
He is expected to effectively take Junior Firpo’s place in the starting 11 and make the left-back position his own.
However, Lille are already regretting letting the Sweden international leave as they are seriously struggling to find a replacement for the 26-year-old.
They currently only have one recognised young left-back in Vincent Burlet, who has struggled so far in pre-season, and are no closer to renegotiating a deal for 35-year-old Ismaily, who left the club in June.

Marseille have joined the race for Igor Paixao this summer after the Brazilian winger shone at Feyenoord last season.
However, this twist is not going to deter the Whites’ approach, who still believe they are in a good position to land the talented 25-year-old.
Paixao’s statistics for Feyenoord (2024/25)
Farke has identified the need to sign a talented winger following the return of Manor Solomon to Tottenham, and is hoping the club can pull through with bringing Paixao to Elland Road.

Anton Stach is on the verge of signing for Leeds with his medical booked for Monday (21 July) ahead of a £17.3million move from Hoffenheim.
The Peacocks have chased the 26-year-old for weeks, and Farke will gladly welcome his addition to their midfield as an excellent shield in front of his centre-backs.
The German international is then expected to join up with the squad in his home country as the Whites prepare for a string of matches that will not be televised or attended by fans.
