A section of a Liverpool park was cordoned off following reports of a non-suspicious death. Merseyside Police were called to Newsham Park today, Tuesday, July 22.

A section of the park was cordoned off earlier today while emergency services dealt with the incident. A number of police cars and a fire engine could also be seen near to the cordon.

In a statement, Merseyside Police said: “It is a non-suspicious death, a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
