Daniel Farke’s Leeds United side have just strengthened their squad again with the addition of Anton Stach from Hoffenheim.
Leeds’ backline and midfield is now stacked with Premier League ready talent, and Farke will be feeling optimistic about his side’s chances of competing in the top flight.
However, Leeds are perhaps still lacking in two departments — Illan Meslier needs to be replaced and Farke is also crying out for further attacking recruits.
Earlier in the summer, TBR Football shared that Manor Solomon wanted to stay at Tottenham Hotspur despite strong interest from Leeds.
25-year-old Manor Solomon made 41 appearances for Leeds in all competitions on loan last season, but his focus is currently on trying to impress new Spurs boss Thomas Frank.
Leeds could make a late move for Tottenham’s Manor Solomon
That being said, chief correspondent Graeme Bailey believes that Leeds might still be able to make a successful late play for Solomon this summer.
Tottenham have a ton of attacking options in wide positions heading into the new season, and Solomon’s stance might quickly change once he’s not getting regular chances.
TBR Football previously revealed that Spurs want £20m for Solomon this summer, a fee that Leeds would seemingly be happy to pay.

Explaining the latest, Bailey said: “Leeds still really like Manor Solomon.
“I think there’s a very good chance after a couple of games once we get into the start of the season and Solomon sees he’s not first choice at Spurs and involved — I think we could see him at Leeds.
“Leeds still like him an awful lot, I think there’s a very good chance Solomon still ends up at Elland Road.
“For the sake of Leeds going for their second choice, they may as well hang on. They wanted Solomon and he’s not going to be particularly expensive. So I think he is in their minds.”
Daniel Farke is still in the market for a new number 10
Of course, Leeds’ attacking signings won’t just stop at a winger — Farke is also keen to recruit a striker and a number 10 at Elland Road.
Leeds are unlikely to sell Matteo Joseph until they sign a striker, the club are wary of leaving themselves short.
And in terms of who the 49ers might sign, Bailey shared that Leeds are monitoring the situations of Sheffield United’s Gustavo Hamer and Aston Villa’s Emi Buendia very closely.
He continued: “They’re interested in Buendia and Hamer for the number 10 role too, I think they’re waiting for that one to unfold.
“As it stands with Buendia, the deal Villa want is not acceptable for Leeds, but I think that one will change.
“Obviously they’re working on a number nine as well, and I must admit I am surprised they didn’t push harder for Josh Sargeant if I’m honest.”
On Solomon’s part, former Man City star Kevin De Bruyne previously called the winger an ‘excellent player’.
And if Leeds are able to pick up Premier League pair Solomon and Buendia before the end of the window, their chances of avoiding relegation would look very promising.
