It’s been a good long while since we heard anything about Dust Bunny, the upcoming Mads Mikkelsen-starring horror from Bryan Fuller, but Collider has released a first-look image today as well as confirming a release date of December 12, 2025.
As well as reuniting Mikkelsen and Fuller after NBC’s Hannibal (Season 4, please fellas…?), Dust Bunny stars Alien icon Sigourney Weaver, David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) and Sophie Sloan (Chemistry of Death). In Fuller’s directorial debut:
…a young girl named Aurora (Sloan) seeks out her neighbor (Mikkelsen) for help after she believes her family has been gobbled up by a monster living under her bed. The neighbor just so happens to be a skilled hitman, who is fairly certain that the child’s parents may have been the accidental victims of a group looking to assassinate him. Keeping his young neighbor safe becomes the hitman’s top priority, as both characters go on a mission to face down their monsters side by side.
Dust Bunny marks Fuller’s first project since leaving A24’s Friday the 13th prequel series Crystal Lake.
Keep an eye out for a Dust Bunny trailer coming soon!
