Sheffield Wednesday are preparing for a pre-season friendly against Mansfield Town.
With the Championship season now just over two weeks away, the Owls are finally playing some first-team matches.
Sheffield Wednesday beat York City 3-0 recently after some makeshift U21 teams lost their recent outings.
The club are now gearing up for a clash against Mansfield Town this weekend, kicking off on July 26 at an unannounced kick-off time.
Sheffield Wednesday fans are not happy ahead of Mansfield after it was confirmed that it would be a behind-closed-doors affair.
Meanwhile, some worrying news regarding club icon Barry Bannan has now emerged.

As they prepare to face Mansfield on Saturday, players have been in training, though a number of senior stars from last season have departed.
Josh Windass has left for Wrexham this week, while Michael Smith has also moved on after having his contract terminated at the same time as the attacking midfielder.
Another experienced star whose future remains in doubt at Hillsborough is club legend, Barry Bannan.
Bannan was training with Sheffield Wednesday this month despite his contract expiring on June 30.
However, The Star have now shared an update on every player spotted training for the Owls this week ahead of their next outing.
And they say that Bannan, along with trialist Mohamed Konate, were both absent.
Exactly why the Scotsman was not involved is not yet known, but Wednesday fans must be worried about his future, given he’s still out of contract.

As well as Smith and Windass, there was the £2.2m sale of Djeidi Gassama to Rangers and Anthony Musaba joining Samsunspor for a fee of around £800,000.
Those exits, combined with players leaving at the end of their contracts and no new signings being made, has left the Owls with a threadbare squad.
Currently, Wednesday have 9 senior players aged 21 or over in training ahead of Mansfield.
They are: Liam Palmer, Dominic Iorfa, Max Lowe, Yan Valery, Nathaniel Chalobah, Svante Ingelsson, Olaf Kobacki, Jamal Lowe and Ike Ugbo.
Di’Shon Bernard remains at the club, but he is currently sidelined with an injury.
