It is exactly 34 years since Ben Needham disappeared on the Greek island of Kos. Ben who was from Sheffield was just 21 months old when he vanished.
South Yorkshire Police say their thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with Ben’s family as they mark an incredibly difficult milestone.
Over the years, their investigation has led detectives to conclude that, on the balance of probabilities, Ben died on the day he went missing. However, the force remains absolutely committed to finding the answers that his family so desperately need and deserve. Until those answers are found, South Yorkshire Police say their investigation will remain open.
