Lategan, said he was thrilled at the prospect of making the step up to professional grade cricket after a couple of promising years.
“It is a dream come true to be signing my first pro contract. I’m very thankful for everyone that has helped me along the way and I couldn’t be happier!
“Representing such a great club is an honour. The lads at the club are a great bunch and the changing room is a great environment.
“I’m very excited to be working closely with the coaches and feel my game can constantly improve with their guidance.
“My ambition is to contribute to winning games for Worcestershire. I’d love to break into the first team and prove myself at the professional level and hopefully help Worcestershire win games in the years to come.”

Lategan’s professional contract will take effect from 1 November 2025, with him registered as one of the Club’s overseas players.
