Leeds United have re-entered the race for Igor Paixao.
Paixao, 25, looked set to move to French giants Marseille this summer after Leeds failed to agree a fee with Feyenoord.
However, the Whites have accelerated talks with the Dutch giants to finalise a deal for the winger, with a bid reportedly tabled.
Marseille have responded with their own bid for Paixao, and the Brazilian’s preference has been revealed.

Leeds could still miss out on the Brazilian this summer, despite an agreement being close.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport’s print edition (27 July, pg 15) has reported that Paixao’s preference is to move to Marseille.
They say that both clubs have tabled £26.2million offers to Feyenoord for his services, with the French club now gaining an advantage from his preference.
Roma are also interested in the Brazilian, with Gian Piero Gasperini’s side ready to make a move for Paixao while also holding interest in both Antonio Nusa and Christos Tzolis.

After Manor Solomon returned to Tottenham Hotspur after his loan spell, Leeds need a creative spark on the flanks, ready for their Premier League return.
Paixao can provide that threat, along with a deadly eye for goal, as shown by his 30 goal contributions in the Eredivisie last season.
