BIRMINGHAM host Belle Vue in this week’s only ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixture as the sides meet at Perry Barr tonight (Monday).
The Aces can go level on points with league leaders Ipswich if they can secure an away win, but the Second City venue has been a tricky one for them in the past and they lost their previous visit in June when they were without skipper Brady Kurtz.
Both sides track their full line-ups with Birmingham looking to hit back from defeats to Oxford and Ipswich last week.
Brummies boss Chris Adams said: “We’ve shown that we can win meetings in this league – we just need things to go our way on the night.
“Belle Vue are one of those teams who things did go right against earlier in the season.
“I’m sure more people will be backing the opposition to win this one but we don’t mind the pressure being with them, and hopefully we can all have a good night collectively and pull off what would be classed as another upset.”
Aces manager Mark Lemon said: “We’re in a good position now in the table but in this league you simply cannot afford to be complacent.
“It was frustrating the last time at Birmingham without Brady. But at full strength we return expecting to get a positive result.
“We need to go there and produce a super-strong display and I believe we will. In my mind it always comes down to our own performances. If our boys ride to their potential, then we will get the result we require.”
