The categories included: Sporting Champion, Arts and Culture Champion, Caring Champion, Environmental Champion, Fundraising Champion, Learning Champion, Superhero Champion, Team Champion, and Service to Children Champion. 

Finalists were nominated by the public earlier this year, with local businesses, councillors, community leaders and Weston Youth Council selecting the winners. 

The event featured performances from local young people, including circus skills, music and dance. Attendees included the Mayor of Weston and the High Sheriff of Somerset. 

Reset WSM is a Community Interest Company that supports young people through alternative education, mentoring, group work, and holiday programmes such as the HAF scheme for children on free school meals. 

This is the second year Reset WSM has hosted the awards, aiming to recognise the work and stories of young people across the area.
