Prem clubs eye Trossard

Leandro Trossard in on the radar of two Premier League clubs.

The Gunners are open to cashing in on the Belgium international – despite having held talks with him over a new deal.

And according to Sky Germany, the 30-year-old has “two concrete offers” from Prem clubs on the table.

Chelsea could Garnacho after Simons

Chelsea could make a move for Alejandro Garnacho even if they sign Xavi Simons.

The west Londoners are reportedly on the verge of tabling a bid for RB Leipzig ace Simons.

But according to GiveMeSport, the Blues could also pursue the signature of wantaway Manchester United ace Garnacho after landing Simons.

McAtee bid rejected

Nottingham Forest have had an opening bid for James McAtee rejected by Manchester City.

Forest have tried to prise the attacking midfielder, whom they’ve identified as a potential replacement for the recently departed Anthony Elanga, with a bid of £25million.

But City are holding out for at least £40m for the 22-year-old, who has one year left on his contract at the Etihad.

The 2024/25 season was a breakout campaign for McAtee, who scored seven goals in 27 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Glasner’s Palace warning

Oliver Glasner has warned Crystal Palace face another bad start to the season if they wait until the last minute to bring in fresh blood.

The Austrian seems disappointed by the lack of fast signings the Eagles “promised” him after winning the FA Cup in May.

And with other clubs eyeing up his talent – such as Arsenal target Eberechi Eze – Glasner is worried a repeat of last term’s poor beginning will happen if they leave all their transfer business to the end of the window.

The Palace chief, 50, told Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung: “Even though all the players are still here, we haven’t made the most of the transfer window so far.

“I was promised that we would be more active and bring in the new players earlier this year.

“As of now, I have 17 outfield players! I hope we don’t lose any more.

“If that happens and we get four new ones on deadline day like last year, another false start is possible.”

Guehi conspiracy theory addressed

Marc Guehi’s absence from Crystal Palace’s pre-season friendly against Mainz is purely injury-related.

Alarm bells started ringing among the Selhurst Park faithful when Guehi’s name was absent from the mathday squad.

But according to the BBC, the England defender’s omission has nothing to do with a potential transfer away from south London.

Manchester United’s asking price for Jadon Sancho has reportedly been revealed.

The Red Devils are willing to cash in on their flop winger, who has spent the last season and a half out on loan, this summer.

And according to The Daily Mail, United will accept as little as £15million for the winger’s services.
