Campaigners have called on Stormont’s Finance Minister to review his department’s industrial derating policy and end benefits for major companies, including those profiting from the “destruction” of Gaza.
Industrial derating, in the context of business rates in Northern Ireland, refers to a 70% reduction to the normal rate for properties used for manufacturing.
