In the eyes of many, retired pound-for-pound superstar Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest fighters to have ever laced up the gloves.

But in the opinion of former undisputed welterweight champion and Mayweather opponent Zab Judah, there are at least five legendary fighters that are even greater than his former rival.

Throughout the course of his 21-year professional career, Mayweather became a world champion in no less than five weight classes, defeating the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao to name a few.

After beating MMA fighter Conor McGregor in his 50th and final professional outing back in August 2017, Mayweather would go on to draw the curtain on his career without suffering a single defeat.

Speaking to VladTV, Judah was asked for his top five fighters of all time and left Floyd off the list.

“I’m trying to see who I put first under me, I’m trying to see. Let’s see, Mike Tyson, Pernell Whitaker, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali, legends.”

Judah was beaten via unanimous decision when they clashed back in April 2006, surrendering his IBF welterweight title in the process at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Victory over Judah saw Mayweather become a welterweight world champion for the very first time, having already captured world titles at super-featherweight, lightweight and super-lightweight up until that stage.

Judah isn’t the only man to claim that there are a number of fighters better than his former rival, with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum also doing the same. Mayweather remains steadfast in the opinion that he is the best of all time.
